Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about finding a time when everyone is free.
How do I find a time when everyone is free?
Create a meeting, pick the dates and hours that could work, and share the link. Each person marks the times they're free, and MeetSync ranks the times that work for the most people. The results update live as responses come in.
Is MeetSync free?
Yes. MeetSync is free to use. There is no paid plan, no trial and no credit card.
Do participants need to sign up?
No. Participants open your link, type their name and click the times they're free. There is no account, password or email to confirm. Organizers can sign in if they want their meetings saved in one place, but it's optional.
How does MeetSync handle time zones?
Everyone sees the times in their own time zone, detected automatically, so nobody has to convert. Anyone can switch to a different zone from the time zone menu, and the zone the meeting was created in is shown for reference.
Who can see the responses?
Only the organizer. Results open from the organizer link or with the 6-character access code you get when you create the meeting. People with the participant link can respond, but they can't see anyone else's answers.
Can participants change their answer?
Yes. Reopening the meeting link on the same device brings back their response so they can edit it.
What slot lengths can I use?
You can split the day into 15, 30 or 60-minute slots. The best times are shown as ranges, such as 10:00 to 11:00 AM, so you can see how long each window is.
Does MeetSync connect to Google Calendar or Outlook?
No. MeetSync is an availability poll: each person marks when they're free. Once you've picked a time, send the invite from the calendar you already use.
How is MeetSync different from When2meet or WhenIsGood?
The idea is the same: share a link and nobody signs up. MeetSync adds a ranked list of the best times instead of a heat map you have to read, times shown in each person's own time zone, live results, and a layout that works on a phone.
